Happy Mother's Day...

To the coolest mom on the planet, the mother of my child, the mother of my future child, and the mother of my inner child. Thanks for putting up with me Roxanne and also for being the best mom a little boy could ever ask for. You are beautiful all over and you bring happiness to all of us. Keller absolutely adores you and I love you very much. You are wonderful and best of all you are ours. Happy Mother's Day.

Love,

Your boys.

You will be missed ...

A Tribute Dear Friend...
Rumor has it you'll be leaving your spot
In the city of refuge where cars seem to rot.
Where the sand and surf meet but inches away
Where many pass through and a special few stay.
Too many to count are the times you have given
To the salty, the studious, the lazy, the driven
Subsistence and shelter, a rendezvous point
Like AC and Zack's "Max"
You were our joint.

We'd pair up outside and decide what we were eating
We had it down to a system, even had assigned seating.
One would pay for your service then sit down with the dudes
With Cornelius in the background making her cubes
There we would divide our two foot-longs in four
One would ride driver's seat and the refill he'd pour
To some it might gross them out to no end
To think of sharing a drink
But what's a floater shared among friends?

Your after four special kept us alive
Without you I doubt we'd have even survived.
You gave us so much, you taught us to be fair
Like stamps go to he who pays more than his share.
It was there by the window where we had many debates
Where we'd talk about life and how it all relates.
The enlightenment gained and the time that was spent
Discussing graduate blues, not the news,
And if the cups better when bent.

To think of the nonsense that was spread at your table
Where jambors were planned for the willing and able
And the beautiful mastery between architect and artist
Each using their skills and working their hardest.
The architects vision and his veggie selection
Carried out by the artist to achieve sandwich perfection.
So many memories built up over the years
Is there no way you can stay?
I think I'm shedding man tears.

The thought of your loss brings a man to his knees
Without you my friend there'd only be Mickie Dees
They say they'll replace you with a bird with red wings
That serves nine dollar burgers and other ridiculous things.
The consensus among many is that they're not impressed
For the men of the hustle this only causes distress.
What will they do those who deny the clown
when plate lunches give sucker punches
And your no longer in town?

Where would we be without out you, who knows?
How many memories would've been lost among bros?
My ranting is over, I guess I should relax
In the end isn't this all just part of the paradise tax?
So here is to you, friend, if indeed you do leave us
When that day does come then it sure will be grievous.
And I know there'd be many who would join me to say
We know your smell all too well
My shirts off to you ... Lāʻie Subway.

This is what you get....

when you let a one year old feed himself spaghetti O's. A serious MESS!

Vegas + Baby

This past weekend my mom and I went to Vegas for a girls trip and it was AMAZING! We spent four days at the MGM laying by the pool, eating tons of food, sleeping, and getting massages and facials. Trevor sent me on an early Mother's Day trip, while he stayed back to be "mom" for the weekend. Although I missed my boys a ton, they had a blast doing a lot of Father and Son activities. Thank you to my mom for being so much fun, and to my Wonderful husband who sent me there to simply enjoy myself. I love you both!I also wanted to post some pictures of my adorable baby boy... he's truly precious.

Bunco

A couple of weekends ago a group of us got together and played Bunco at my friend Kelly's house. It was my first time playing, and I absolutely loved it! Liz and I tied for first place, and it was a very sweet victory! We also celebrated Mandy and Lisa's birthdays with some good food and cake. I can't wait for the next game of Bunco in May!
